This game lacks life, and I would sacrifice the HD graphics in a heartbeat to get the art that is found in FFXI.

Give this video a look:

80/100 but you have missed the center.
This game lacks of history.
There is nothing letting you think "oh the world works in that way".
There are 3 "cities", some npc here and there, some road.
A world is not that, a world has graveyards because people die, a world has mines with miners, a world got farms, a world got ruins from wars and past, a world has merchants and they don't stand 24/24 near a pumpkin and a sack of flour. a world got birds, birds flying in the sky.
When a town is empty, pirates, bandits, monsters take that town as their base. 3 npc and some crab is foolish.

SE said "we have done a lot for history, church, gods and others": where are these things in this world?
I feel like Eorzea was created in september, not ... 5,000,000,000 years ago?
