Logitech G430 Headset Problems

When I plug in my G430 headphones or unplug I loose audio for FFXIV: ARR, but not anything else in Windows 8. I have contacted Logitech, they say this is a problem with the game, but I still haven't heard back from a ticket I opened with support a week ago. Does anyone else have this issue? If so have you found a solution?

I have the same issue as this with my Logitech headset. The only fix I have found is to exit the game, reconnect headset, load up game again, get error 1017, quit game, load up game, get error 2002, break keyboard, go to bed cranky.

Having said that if you do get back in without an issue your headphones should work.
