I'm with you on that one. This is also one of the reasons you see fewer tanks in this and any of a number of games.

That being said, I've had some really great groups, mainly people speaking Portuguese or German.

I would say Tanks..If you've played enough mmo's you'd know that Tanks would be the least played class due to how slow they are..

The server I am on (Behemoth) is over run with Arcanists.
I have seen the fewest of Monk and Black Mages followed by Bards.

I Just recently unlocked my Bard and am loving it.

...and to each his own....I was really getting pissed that I had to level PUG in order to unlock my BARD JOB and ended up liking the class a lot...I have learned how to play it through 15 and I may just end up at some point making MONK my second Main JOB after I do it all with BARD. I think tanking looks too complicated but it may actually be fun to play now that I have seen some other play styles...never thought I would.

Definitely marauder or pugilist. I've seen maybe 1 or 2 others of those running DF.

Monk could be a dodge tank. That would give people slightly more options. I pla pug with the intention of playing monk.
