/seayes pls!
I miss the ability to add a search comment (サーチコメ) to my character very much. It was very useful in Final Fantasy XI, and not many MMORPGs have copied that wonderful idea. People used them for many, many different things, such as leaving AFK messages and event messages, finding items, lot-related memory aids and so on.
Bazaar comments were also very nice.
I don't know why this isn't a top priority fix. Having a non-existent search function is the one big reason why this game is no fun for me, and players from small linkshells.
I think a large chunk of the player base is playing this "MMO" solo, and it's really taking the fun away after a while.
Agreed... Been asking for this since October... they never mention it happening. Why I barely play.
THIS! I hate looking for party in this game. You have two options: put up a bulletin that you are looking for party and have random people join you, or spam the search option and get the same lame advertisements for LS membership for hours.
FFXI really did this well with a LFP flag that allowed you to go about your business until invited, or search through a list of people who wanted to party and pick and choose your setup. I really hope the party search function gets an overhaul and becomes something more akin to the FFXI version.
SE Please Add a Search Function similar to FFXI. Improvements to the FFXI search function would also be welcome in FFXIV.
