    Please a add a Search / Looking for Group function

    FFXI is based all around looking for people to party with, inviting people, joining up, killing stuff. FFXIV has a horrible search function they really need to make it better and easier.

    Allow people to lfg on multiple classes, allow people to invite to linkshells or groups from the search menu, allow to check peoples locations, what classes they are on, ect.

    They should add an icon atop the head beside the name in order to know who is willing to join a party. It is allways so hard to find team members.

    Technically, there is a party search function. The problem is that very few people use it. I don't think there is a need to show a flag over my head but I do agree with the original post that this needs attention. I think the one already in game is good but it lacks the ability to select a more general option for those just ranking up. At the moment there are only options for doing guildleves, questing, etc...

    I'm not sure that is the solution but it is something that keeps me from using the search function more.

    There is no point to wait and search when people just complete LEVES on their own within 5 min.

    i feel more confident on a extension of the actual LFG tool, if just more people would use it.
    Also, for general grind you could just write it in the comment, and maybe in english <_<

    The player search function in FFXI was absolute perfection. It did the job it was intended to do. The system in FFXIV however, doesn't work. Please I'm with everyone on this one. Bring back FFXI's player search engine; including text commands for "/sea [area] <name> <class> <rank range>".
