    Size of monsters.

    Hello there,
I just wanted to ask if anyone other then my self thinks the new size of monsters are well the best word i can use is silly!
I can agree that some monsters might have been a bit small, tho how they are now I for one think it's a joke and given the game a bit of an EC rating to the game.

I think some of the mobs did need to be bigger, but some are just ridiculous ow (Chigoes for example...?)

It would be like taking a Flea in FFXI and making it the size of a taru, some mobs are just meant to be hard to see.

The mobs I think the change is good for is the likes of Puks, they always felt a lil too small for my liking, being of the Dragon family. Hopefully they make some adjustments to some mobs and not to others.

Definitely agree. Most of the monsters need to have their sizes reduced by about 25%, especially the dodos. I'm a Elezen why are they almost as tall as me!

I thought it was great. No really. I thought it was pretty neat, it certainly made certain monsters (especially puks) much more intimidating, and I, for one, am glad to see that Rampaging Rams actually got a growth spurt, but I still think they need to be bigger.

When I think of Rampaging Ram, I think of a giant ram that I thought was a sheep numerous times and would destroy me as a newbie. Imagine my disappointment when I first discovered that I'm bigger than the Rampaging Ram in FFXIV BEta >.>

im glade a lot of the mobs are bigger though some could be not so big like Gnats for example they look like mutant aliens from outer outer space and take up a lot of screen space when i m fighting them in nawa mines so plz look over all the mobs u increase in size and adjust them to a more realistic.

I believe that the overall, the increase in monster size was a great improvement. Battles feel more epic and dangerous. The level and quality of the graphic design of the monsters are now more visible and definitely look better. The vilekin being an excellent example of showcasing the improvement.

But I do agree there are a few monster that could use a sizing down though. Cactuars being one.

I agree. The mobs are a bit too big. Id say the mongrels and aggressive mobs stay the way they are but peaceful creatures like dormice shouldn't be as big as my dog.

I think the size increase was an improvement. For the amount of trouble it can give you, a marmot should look big enough to present a challenge. The game needs to feel more epic, and bigger enemies are part of that. Besides which, it's easier to distinguish and target a lot of the previous tiny enemies now, especially when playing Elezen or Roegadyn.

New size mobs brought back the FF style, every other FF games have big mobs, FFXIV was the exception.
