Graphics quality lowered down from the original?

One of biggest things that ruining the 'new game' for me is this ugly new engine .Also it has such poor lightning tuning combine it with idiotic day night changes every few minutes result in way too bright or way too dark .Its so annoying when there a lot things around all you see is splashes flashes fx and ui.
1.0 used to feel far more massive now all is like dots .]-/
Actually the new engine is not the main problem its just badly tuned ]

Strange. I reckon it is far better improvement compare to the 1.0 for me, personally.
