thoughts of 14

These are my thoughts on 14. I've tried and have failed to get this game. I have had people tell me that I suck and should just go play hello kitty online. I don't know how to respond to things like that without being mean and that's something I don't want to do. I feel that the game in it's current state is bad.

I understand that some people want a challenge but the challenge shouldn't come from over powered mobs. A broken combat system and forced grouping to get good XP/SP. I really could care less if anyone supports me on this. I'm posting things like this on the forums and hoping that SE sees it. That way at least I voiced my thoughts.

I read your other thread. I'm not sure what's wrong. Is your gear near your level? There's a penelty if not. Do you have the shield, protect, and stoneskin from conjurer? Those help a lot.

You're a horrible player if you can't get past Rank 1 without dying, but I agree with you the battle system is horrible - they're changing it so you can stick it out and see what the new stuff has in store, you can sit it out and come back for the new stuff, or you can take off and join me in my agonizing wait for Guildwars 2 which is going to be a blast.

my gear is at or under my rank. I don't have a shield yet and don't have those spells from con. I understand that having a higher PL and abilities from other jobs help but what gets me is that have to level more then one class to stand a chance. I don't mind being KO'ed but failing over and over with things that you should be able to do at your rank makes me upset. I don't think my lack of skill is the problem I think it's bad game design and I'm not alone in those thoughts

Ey he dont need protect or stoneskin. those skills are overrated. Start on just getting Conj and thaum to R20 each for sacrifice II and cure II. add stygian spikes to your spell line-up and you will be god of survival for a long time.

Believe me I noobed it up for a while when I started playing. Got gladiator to R16 before I finally learned you can cross-class skills lol. so I did the above and became like... unkillable.

Anyway, is not that SE is not going to read this. Neither they need to read, because it's a topic discussed September, January and so on. Everybody knows about this and I guess people is tired to read always the same things.

What overpowered monster? Every mob at your own rank is super easy to kill.
It may be tough to kill Mobs with a slightly higher level in the beginning when your physical level is low but later? I easily can rank up a job 1-20 r in just a couple hours by killing mobs way above my rank with SP 300 – almost 500 per kill. Easier even if you make some leves.
No offense but you might simply want to practice your skills a bit more.
If a agro mob manages to hit you 2-3 times before you can draw your weapon and lock on then your reaction is simply very poor.

Get some healing abilities!
Learn how to avoid Mob special attacks! (most you can dodge by simply walking around the mob or running out of range)
