Thanks for this. Today i felt very unreliable as a tank in Duty Finders.

I ran with a hard hitting dps and could not maintain agro during the fastblade lull, i had to start doing double flash or adding another shiled lob before going into this triple combo
On your initial mob or the group as a whole. If its the group and you have an aoe you need to flash. I normally will shield lob>flash>FB>flash>savage>ROH. At that point mob one is normally dead or cloase and I just cycle the steps in my combo through mobs remaining to keep threat.
In some groups I catch myself doing that exact same rotation Bwalker. That extra flash can be needed, particularly if AOE is going down.On your initial mob or the group as a whole. This really is a great guide, thank you for writing it.
A couple minor points, but are important...
At later levels you gain a blind effect with your Flash ability, when you spam Flash while the blind effect is on your targets you DO NOT generate any additional threat.
Keep that in mind if part of your rotation is spamming flash.
Grouping Fight or Flight, Convalescence and Rampart into an attack macro will be really helpful since it is generally a good idea to keep these up as often as possible.
When the healer is occupied with a Raise, or is in the process of healing someone else and you see big damage coming, sentinel is your friend.
Just a couple tips I picked up from tanks better than me.
i have a question!!!
i ran brayflox yesterday and the whm was putting the unmarked to sleep, (since i only use mark 1 and 2) and i could have sworn they woke up when i used flash for the other two targets that were awake. it could have been that the dd were hitting the targets, for various reasons.
so....
On targets that have bee put to sleep, will "flash" awaken them from the slumber due to its AoE?
Excellent idea with binding fight or flight to your attack macro. I see no reason why it should not always be on cooldown. I am a little weary of adding in rampart and convalescence in there because it means you will pop it at the start of the fight and possibly not have it later on. I guess it is a matter of play style but I would rather only pop defensive cool downs when the healer is starting to run behind (unless the fight is just easy mode to being with).
