    I had a friend who was hating bard at early levels but was the only kind of class he enjoyed do such with it, at 50 he said the class completely changed for him and is absolutely in love with bard now. You may want to level one to 50 and see what happens

    With everyone mentioning BRD, it sorta makes me want to try and max it but I really wanted a Brd to be about the songs rather than the "Ranger who thinks s/he sings" we currently have.

    A LotRO or EQ bard would be pretty neat, or even the kind of bard-like-thing from Rift. However that's not what we have, regrettably.
