If you stop at marked area, you will also appear at stairs at map change (when you are going down to lower decks map)

    Greetings again, Lienn!
Thank you for your patience with the wait for a response to your report. Unfortunately, it seems that the development team requires more specific information regarding this matter. It would be a great help to us if you are able to provide the exact map coordinates of the locations that you have experienced this trouble. Any other specific details that you can provide regarding the locations would be very helpful, as well. Thanks again for your patience!

Very well! I made some "guide" for this bug. I didn't add the map position because pretty much all adventurer guild is at same position...but here it is: Placing the character at Upper Decks (7,5) will also cause him to appear at Lower Decks (7,5).

Here i placed my alt character (Yoli Deleene) at bug position and used my another account character (Akbaba Rarab) To Screenshot the points. I also added some map marksers at screenshots.

When i go to stairs to zone to lower decks map, there is Yoli again. She was still sitting at same spot as the first screenshot when this one was taken.

    http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...uff/bug002.jpg

Now a suggestion of how to see it on the fly. Place a character where Akbaba Rarab is at 3rd screenshot...

    http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...uff/bug003.jpg

...and just walk with another character at the marked area at 4th screenshot. (as close as possible of wall...the closer you are and slower you pass (walk is the best option) better chance of also seeing the character walking in front of the character placed at 3rd screenshot position).

I believe its pretty much the same bug which causes characters to walk inside roof/floor at dungens and that causes antlings from lower floor at Copperbell mines to also appear near its entrance. It might look like a harmless bug, but it can be exploited to kill monsters that do not react, like copperbell antlings...you can attack them when you see them near entrance, but they won't react because they actually are not in that map so you're always outside its aggressive range and outside its territory.

    Hope these screenshots help! ^^

    Greetings once more, Lienn!
Thank you for taking the time to take and submit those screenshots. Unfortunately, in order to properly inspect this matter, the development team needs these details to be in verbal descriptions, instead of visual. We do greatly appreciate you taking the time to try to explain this matter with screenshots, though. When you are able to provide a verbal description of these locations, including any data about their coordinates, we will make sure to pass along this information for you. Thanks again for your participation!

I see. So let me try and explain it verbally. Gonna redo the steps for generating this bug.

1: You are at Limsa adventurer guild, in front of guildleve corner (Upper Decks (7,5)). You have two entrances to that room...one north and one southwest.
2: You go to southwest entrance (that leads to southern part of upper decks map, the one where the aetheryte is). There you will find a small hall with wood texture at center and stone near its walls. Its in this hall where the bug is triggered.
3: You move to the center of the hall and then to the northern wall of the hall, as close as possible of the wall.
4: To confirm the bug you will need a second character. Once the first character is placed close to the wall in the hall (the hall is still at upper decks (7,5)) you target that one with the second character.
5: Now, wit the second character, walk back inside to the adventurer guild and then head to the north entrance (the one that leads to the stairs to lower decks and to the culinary guild) and take the stairs to the lower decks (still upper decks (7,5))
6: Going down that stairs you will reach a plain area with a long window that marks the zone between upper decks and lower decks. (upper decks (7,5)).
7: After the plain area you will see the second part of the stairs, that are already part of lower decks (7,5) and the character you placed at upper decks hall standing there too. If you kept that character targeted you will see that he will still be targeted, what means they do are the same character. You can repeat the path many times and the character at hall will still be appearing at stairs. Its a 90~100% chance of happening bug, which is good since its easy to reproduce. It may not happen in only 3 situations: a) the first character isn't close enough of the northern wall. b) the first character isn't around the middle (by middle i mean near the wall and half way out of the hall) of the hall. c) the first character is moving too fast (it can still be seen if the first charactter moves slowly).

I think its the most detailed i can be. I hope its enough this time...because more than that would be only making a video about it or showing it to a GM in person.

    Greetings, Lienn!
Thank you for taking the time to go into verbal detail about what you have experienced. I understand how tough it can be to make sure that you are providing a thorough description of what you have witnessed, and it seems that you did provide as much information as you can, so I have made sure to submit all of this information to the development team for you. I recommend continuing to check on this thread for any further news about this investigation. Thanks again for your patience and participation!
