Introduction of World Passes

So after reading a few posts about RL friends being unable to join servers why not introduce World Passes like FFXI?

That way new players without any friends on a highly populated server will be redirected to the newer less populated server while friends can play together through the purchase of World Passes.

What are your thoughts?

Could even make a Queueing system for the passes?

I've been wondering this forever. I have at least 5-10 friends who have frantically been trying to make a character on Excalibur with the other, you know, 70~ of us. I imagine another week or two or whatever of this will make some people decide they're just going to quit rather than play on a world where they no like no one while there's another world that has a ton of their friends on there.

I had suggested this for Legacy servers back during beta since the Legacy servers were already going to be so full with 1.0 players, that it would be hard for friends of 1.0 players to get on. I love the idea, and I wish they had already implemented something like this.
