    CPU Usage Above 68%?

Hey whats up, So recently i decided to check the cpu usage for the game while it was running and currently before it was only using 25-30% now its using more then 68% thats almost double then it was before. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this issue cause theres no way my computer specs are using that many resources. My friend also has this problem as well and he just noticed it as well.

    PC Specs

AMD Athlon II 64x Quad Core 620 2.60GHZ
    ATI Radeon Sapphire 5500HD Card
    10GB Of Memory
    500 Watt Power Supply
    Windows 7 Premium - SP1 , Fully Updated

Any help on the issue will be fully appreciated.

Seems a little to high to be running that many resources and it wasn't using that many before hand.

Well, right now its not a big deal, 68%, your computer can live with that, now if it keeps rising and you notice overheat then you should worry.

well, my CPU usage is anywhere between 25-75%. This game relies on the CPU relatively much, so it's not unexpected. Also your usage isn't going to be constant, sometimes there's more stuff to render etc. so the game reserves more resources to cope with it. If your framerates are not tanking and your components aren't overheating, I don't think it's a problem.

That CPU is four years old, and back when it was new it was already a budget offering based on a platform that was slowly being phased out. It has a tiny cache and not the highest core clocks.

However, your graphics card is fairly low-end, and will be the limiting factor on your FPS. If you run the game at fairly high settings and get fairly low FPS, then the CPU will sit bored and unable to do its work, thereby showing low utilization. If you then go and adjust your settings for more playable framerates, the CPU suddenly has more work to do. The same can happen if either the game or the video drivers (or both) get optimized. Was the last time you checked during beta? There was a big optimization push before launch that added a couple FPS for everyone.

Depends on your budget. But before buying a whole new computer, I'd look into upgrading. Your CPU isn't the newest, but it's not too weak for the game, and you have plenty of memory... it's mainly the video card that needs more power.

Useful lower midrange cards include the Geforce GTX 650 Ti "Boost Edition" (long name, but Nvidia sells several other, weaker 650 models) and GTX 660, or the Radeon 7790 and 7850. In all cases, aim to get 2 GB of video memory. 1 GB is too little, but more than 2 is unnecessary unless you game at 2560x1440 or above.

For comparison, my old video card (that will be upgraded probably when the next generation of Radeons hits at the end of the year) is comparable in performance to a 650 "Boost Edition", albeit with only 1 GB VRAM. I have all settings maxed out at 1920x1200, and depending on the situation I am getting between 30 and 40 FPS, without any significant drops. That isn't overly much, but it's smoothly playable at the full beauty this game can offer. Score in the character creator benchmark was around 5400.
