Pretty sure you are also demanding that they reopen the server you want to create a character on... At least it sure sounds like it by the 3rd post of this thread... of which was a 2nd bump - showing the OPs sense of entitlement.

I don't recall demanding anything even in the first few posts of this thread. This started more as an inquiry concerning why the server was black listed when there was and still is no Log in queue for Exodus. While digging around I found their original indication as to reasoning to shut down the creation of characters on servers.

Regarding Limits on New Character Creation As a result of this maintenance, it is now possible to accommodate an increased number of simultaneous logins in the various Worlds; therefore, we have now lifted the New Character Creation restrictions in the majority of Worlds in which restrictions were in effect. New players who are just starting a game or those who would simply like to create a new character can do so by finding a World which has had the restrictions lifted, and creating a character there.

Please note that there is a tendency for characters to become concentrated in certain Worlds, causing login numbers to jump up in those particular Worlds. In order to create a population balance between Worlds, we will continue to be implementing New Character Creation restrictions in overly congested Worlds.

We will monitor the situation, and in the event restrictions may be lifted, follow-up news posts will be posted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your patience and understanding.

Currently there is not a single server in NA that is available for character creation less then 24 hours after the induction of a new server. And at this time there are no updates concerning black listed servers minus what is available on Lodestone News (general news forum as well). Which in both locations it indicates that they will keep status updates. The latest update occurred at 1:26 PM (CST) over 5 hours ago. I'm just looking for and will remain looking for an ETR so I can tell my wife how long she has to wait to play a game we purchased.

Just got my boyfriend a copy and we went to make characters on Famfrit and no go! We have to play on an EU server now. Less than 24 hours after maintenance.

For the time being, trying to stay on top of it. If it takes till 6AM CST to get on exodus I'll make sure I get my wife there *grins* but we'll see
