    It's the 30-day veteran award. You get it as soon as you pay for 30 day or more of subscription. Worthy of note, if you are in NA, you cannot pay (even with time card) for days until your free time is used up. But as soon as you pay for 30 days, you get the item. You can then use it to do a one-time race/sex/appearance change.

    Sadly i think you'd only get a name change if you change servers and the other server has a character with the same name already. i guess when world transfers are up you could make a character on a diff server, give it your characters name then transfer your character to that server for the name change and transfer back? lol

    Dunno how feasible that would be - both realms my friends are playing on are highly populated already. I might transfer off and get stuck rofl. :s Genius idea, really... I did that a number of times in WoW. Totally forgot about it in this instance, though.
