    CLUTTERED COMBAT

    With heals going off (ugly flakey animations), people casting spells, critical-hit animations that look like mini tornados, not to mention weaponskill animations, eventually it all gets a bit overwhelming.

    I think the combat effects need to be made to look more beautiful so that they don't just end up looking like a huge mess when they're all on your screen at once.

    The cure and critical-hit animations are probably the worst offenders.

    Also, not being able to toggle our own names off means that there is always something blocking the center of ours screens.

    I've been saying this since patch. Now you just can't see animations...or even the monsters due the oversized battle effects when they happen to go all at once.

    1.17 was terrible flaw in almost every aspect...hopefully we will get command line to swap between "old mode" and "big mode". After all, adding this kind of flexibility is the best way to have most of players happy since a chance never will please everyone.

    Even before patch it was ugly.

    Every single effect in the game is just an eye-sore; flakey effects that look like they were done in Maya by a five year old with ADHD and a brain tumour and rheumatic arthritis in both his hands.

    The effects don't just need resizing, they need redoing.

    Protect and shell and shockspikes all look okay, but Cure has to be the worst one of all, not to mention the horrible purple whirlpool that spews forth from your wand every time you cast.

    I don't know conjurer spell, but thm's magic was almost invisible how much was small. At least now i can see it :||

    I dunno... I can see the battles and animations just fine. A few even look sharper than before (rampart, obsess). When the party distances itself to the max range that class allows, everything flows as it should. Not sure whats wrong with cure, since its always been little sparkles.

    Every single effect? Come on... Most Pugilist, Archer, and Gladiator effects look nice (although Gladiator animation could use some work). Magic needs improving, but some of the II level spells look pretty good as they are. Flare and other elemental time bomb spells need improving (2 part effects, first the cast and then the explosion after the countdown), but ALOT of the effects did need resizing.
