Issue:
I'm currently a chief serpent sergeant. I completed the requirements to be promoted to the next level but it keeps saying I need to do the commanders trial, I've already done it but the game is no longer recognizing the fact it's been completed.

Here's what I did. At 44 I completed the commanders trial then tried to turn it in to get promoted, after that, the npc (serpent personnel officer) told me I had to complete my rank 2 GC hunting log first. When I hit lvl 50, I finally got around to completing the GC hunting log then went back to the NPC (serpent personnel officer) to get promoted, now it's telling me I need to complete the commanders trial again. I've talked to the commander and there is no trial for me to complete since I've already done it. Now I can't get my next twin adder promotion since it's claiming I have not completed the requirements. I did the trial already, I finished the gc rank 2 logs and I have some 28k+ seals.

The message I get is the following:
"Alas, it would seem you have yet to meet the commander's satisfaction. might I suggest you seek him out to receive your trial?"

I already completed the dzemael darkhold trial.

Same problem here. Everything done, but i dont get an promotion and bestiary rank 3 cant be done also.

I had this issue as well, I don't think it's a bug but pust poor information.

If I remember correctly, by advancing in the main scenario quests (probably hard modes after them, Ifrit?), the quest will unlock on the commander.
