an augury of innocence

i am at whitebrime front in coarthas. there is a quest on my map/minimap thats called an augury of innocence. i've ran all over the place up to the highest tower down inside the dungeon and even the giant hole in the ground behind the town and i cannot for the life of me find it. i've asked in /shout linkshell and my freecompany and noone has helped i've been searching for a good 30 minutes and cannot find the NPC if anyone has done it can you help me

Can you give a little more information about the quest. I am trying to remember it. Actually, if you could just post what it says for the quest in your journal that would be quite helpful. Also, what does your quest say on the side of the screen (ex. Collect cookies to give to the children at the orphanage 0/3)

Edit: It could be a guy in the jail. Is the quest icon on the map anywhere near the jail? The guy on the right side (as you are going down the stairs) gave me the slip a few times.

I remember this one I think. It said where in the npc text but not the exact location in the quest text or map, that says where you start, but you have to go somewhere else IIRC.

I cant find this NPC either - I can see the ! on the map for the quest but all my searching doesnt get me anywhere close to an NPC

Look at the marked place in the map, and then enter the room next to the stairs. Once inside, turn to your left, and look ahead, there should be a stair going down that leads you to the Jail. Speak with the man behind the bars to your right.

There is a guy that is hidden in the lower cell on the right, you'll have to tilt your camera angle as you won't see him otherwise. That might be the NPC you're looking for =/

This one took me a li'l bit to do because I couldn't find the NPC. He's hard to find because he's in the cells that are really close to the ground and he is sitting down. I think he might move between them and you have to kind of target down to get him.
