I'm trying to enter the game for two long days.. Every time I see the message - WORLD IS FULL. I hate it! I don't know what SE does, but I see the result! Why somebody else cannot be kicked out to let me to enter? We pay the same money. It is not fair.

A 10-hour maintenance is scheduled tonight, starting at 5pm PDT and ending at 3am PDT.
They are adding new worlds, increasing the capacity and possible concurrent connections of existing worlds, and patching up the duty finder.
If this maintenance is successful, they (edit: ARE CONSIDERING IMPLEMENTING) an AFK auto-kick system.
They're also giving us an extra 7 days of free playtime to make up for error-ridden days.

This is false information. All SE has said about the AFK issue is that they have "considered it", but assigned it a lower priority behind the server upgrades. This is not the same thing as "planning to implement"

Maybe because people used to receive quality service for which they have paid for?

Imagine yourself in a situation, when you bought something in a shop and can't receive your goods. You are told to return tomorrow. You are returning another day and they are saying you the same thing, and next day and another one.
How long will you keep coming for your goods?

I know this is going to ruin your day, but SE isn't hiring right now. They just laid off a bunch of people in San Francisco and London.

Is that supposed to be a personal jab at me? I'm not a white-knighting fanboy, I'm trying to spread this information because many people seem to have missed that announcement. I didn't see it until yesterday.

Square Enix screwed up big time, but to say they "don't care" is an overstatement... they care about getting more of our money, at the very least, and they know fixing these problems with help them with that. :P

10 error-ridden days and am only getting 7 days of free playtime. The math does not add up. They should throw in a free moogle hat (oh wait...I have one of those...

I'm waiting to see because they said the problems in Beta would be fixed for EA and they weren't. Then they said the problems in EA would be fixed by launch and they weren't. So I've waited 10 days for them to fix the problems, some of which span back to beta, so I can enjoy the game without the login and character creation restrictions. Will they get it right this time? I doubt it but we'll see.
