It will swap back on its own if you have the auto-filter set, the one that switches depending on if your weapon is out or not. It overwrites any manual filters. If you turned that off and it's still screwy I'd submit it as a bug.

Hey, that actually worked. Thanks a million. I have many more things to put in the OP, but if you know any other tricks to make Gamepad play more glorious, then please feel free to share. I will update the original post with your quote, and try to make this thread as comprehensive and helpful as possible.
