Run/walk toggle PS3 (not so easy)

Dear Reader .... if anyone can help on this one I'd be more than grateful.

When gaming it happened already twice that my character suddenly is in walk mode instead of run. Have i toggled run off ? what happened and how i'm not entirely sure. Fact remains i can't start running anymore.

I tried Num/ on the keyboard ... but the keyboard is a Playstation keyboard and does not have a NUM pad .... so that key doesn't exist ... what to do ... assign the command to another key-bind in the setup ... did that ... but didn't help ...

so please if anyone has an idea ...

    kindest regards,
    Seraph

    Hello Seraph,

I apologize for your frustrations concerning auto-run. By any chance, have you tired pressing "R" on the keyboard? That turns Auto-Run On/Off.

Other controls are illustrated here: PS3 Basic Controls

I hope that helps solve your issue.

Not to diss the moderator, but that was not his question.

To answer the question, since you don't have the number pad on the right hand side, you'll need to edit the Keybind on your ps3. Press start and go over to System -> Keybind. Toggle run/Walk is the 8th option or so down, and should say NUM/ next to it. Just edit the num/ to a button combo that you can press.

Incidentally, if you did manage to toggle it, that may mean there is a shortcut on the ps3 controller that you accidentally pressed. Most of these involve L1 and are NOT on the current controller set up screen. These are unmentioned shortcuts that should probably be included in the online manual.
