Just a quick question for the mods

Yesterday i had a friend over(who is no longer a friend and no longer allowed at my house) and while i attempted show him the game, being blocked by 1017's(ugh) i went to grab some food, came back to my character deleted. Now i can't even create a new character on the server i was playing on with 60+ people that i planned on playing with prior to the release of the game. I would put the restore ticket in, but waiting 7-10 days for that to happen is still 7-10 more days OFF of my account that should be free since i bought the game.

Since P4 i have been dealing with the non-stop 1017's and other bugs and not really giving it much mind, getting through it as i was able to. But now i can't even create a character on my server, nor will i ever be able to in the foreseeable future because hyperion is constantly full. Do you guys have ANY plans to open hyperion, or do you just lose a potential long time customer, and probably thousands of other potential customers by alienating them from their friends? and making them unable to join their friends servers?

So because you were irresponsible and left someone with access to your computer, it's their fault? And they "owe" you? Sounds to me like you are 12.

I'm sorry, trying to trust people must be an alien thing to you, but to people in the real world its kind of a thing. Person betrayed my trust and is no longer my friend, simple as that.

Back on to the actual topic, i only questioned the logic on them throttling how many people can CREATE a character on the server of their friends, when CREATING a character doesn't create log in problems, if the person can't log in then they can't log in but to take it a step further and just cease all character creation is just madness. I played world of warcraft for 8 years, they brought down the servers many, many times during those 8 years and it was very rough in the start. But they didn't bring the servers up without them being ready, and when a problem came up they gave full details, and not just thank you for your patience and understanding. They fixed their problems, and didn't throttle people creating a character on the servers they wanted to play on, they just had an actual working queue.

Despite all that i don't play the game anymore because it went down hill, and i really enjoyed playing this game from P3 to yesterday and i don't WANT to quit and get a refund, but if they aren't going to fix the cant' create a character on the server with our friends problem, i'm going to have to because that just ruins the fun.

It is entirely possible that your "deleted" character is still recoverable. I would submit a ticket to support and see if they can restore the deleted character for you.

It is entirely possible for that to happen, they even have their own little support thing to get that done. The downside now, you get ONE per account, and i don't think its worth wasting it on a level 35, and it would take 7-10 days for them to even get the character restored, probably longer with how many support things are being sent into them. If the character creation wasn't halted there wouldn't be a problem because getting to 35 again would just take another couple days of leveling. Therein lies the problem, not being able to actually create a new character
