What is being done about crashes from AMD Video card users?

I haven't crashed at all running an HD 7770 with the Phenom II X4 945 3Ghz. Except when Alt+Tabbing between programs.


Off topic would the HD7950 get me 60fps max settings?

I have the Vapor X 7950 3GB version and run the game at max settings 1920x1080. Unfortunately, I also have the issue with random crash to desktop. Happens inconsistently but mostly when transitioning to a cut scene or clicking an object. Heavy load situations like FATE's or dungeons I have zero problems. Crash never occurs when my machine's under heavy load, only seems to occur most frequently during transitions and interactions with objects.

Don't see why it wouldn't. I get 60fps with an HD 5670 at max settings. (exceptions being FATES being spammed to death by mages).

I have been running dual 6990's in crossfire with the newest beta drivers since early access and have yet to experience any kind of crash because of video hardware.

I am also getting an average of 70-80 fps in all areas with a drop to between 40-50 fps in congested areas.
