Black Mage level 45 Class Quest

Seriously how do you do this quest, the first 4 portals i can get rid of but when loads spawn i just get nuked to death, how on earth is this meant to be possible...?

And does anyone know when black mages get their class armours?

Any and all advice is welcome cause im so stuck D:

1) Sleep them all(30 seconds)
2) Thunder II -> Fire III -> Fire I ->... 1 target till its dead.
3) Sleep once again(15 seconds)
4) Step 2 once again
5) Run a bit with some heals while Diminishing Return off, then repeat 1-4.

Also try to kill(single target) as many portals as possible when they appear.

Also if its getting a bit hectic throw up Manaward which nullifies 2 magic attacks against you while you cast (its a lvl 30 ability)

Manaward doesn't nullify 2 magic attacks. It gives you a kind of stoneskin effect that is used only for magic damage, and that stoneskin effect is 15% (30% when you hit lv48) of your Max HP.

As an example, if you have 5000HP (at lv50), then Manaward will nullify 1500 points of magic damage. This could last only 1 magical attack (and still deal the excess as HP damage) or it could last 10 magic attacks if the enemies are weak.

Manawall, used for physical attacks, does outright nullify up to 2 attacks.

They both work differently to each other.

You get i50/l45 pieces Wizard's Gloves, Wizard's Tonban, Wizard's Crakows, and Wizard's Petasos from the second lv. 45 BLM class quest "The Blood Must Flow", and i55/l50 Wizard's Coat from the level 50 BLM class quest "Always Bet on Black".
