PS3 USERS -- UNABLE TO PLAY.. STILL!

[B]Anyone else in my situation? I am a legacy member that played portions of P3 on PC. When P4 arrived,
along with early access-- I used my PS3 to play. Ever since the 28th/ 29th, whenever they disabled
the digital download, I get the error when I login with my PS3 "No Service Account Registered" and
something about needing to Purchase a digital download or enter a SE Verification number.

Now mind you, I've researched the issues for a few days, and I heard people suggest to wait for the
update. Fine. I do this, and try to log in today at 7 am EST time, after confirming servers are up
and others can log in.. yet, I still get the same message.

Any others getting the same message? I tried to redeem Both EA and P4 beta codes (desperation) --
I have no other product code that I can enter, and when I look at the Mogstation, it tells me I've
been registered since 2011! I've also tried adding the service from the mogstation as well, I get the
same "No service active/ account registered"

I allowed cookies on my PS3 browser.. that's all I can think of. Unless I need to manually go to the
mogstation on my PS3 browser and try to register the account, or "activate" the PS3 acct.

I'm clueless.. I just really want to play... halp ._.[/B]

Just asking an (I know) obvious question here, but did you actually purchase a copy of the game for PS3?

Every player, regardless of their status from 1.0, must purchase a copy of FF XIV: ARR for the PS3 in order to play on that platform (and register the product key on their existing service account).

The biggest mistakes being made are :

1) not understanding that you must actually purchase the game (again!) to play on PS3.

and

2) creating a new service account to register your PS3 code on accident.

I don't know whether you're in #1 or #2 or some weird account flag error. In any case, verify that you've made neither mistake 1 nor mistake 2 then continue your troubleshooting process.

I purchased the digital download on 8/16 and have no issues launching or logging into the game. If you look under your account on the XMB I forget where exactly to go but I know it is somewhere under account management it will show what current services you have registered on your PS3

When you buy the game for PS3 you get a registration code you have to redeem on PSN. My guess is that 1.0 players wanting to play on PS3 will have to buy that version since they're sold separately and your 1.0 purchase was of the PC version.

I could be wrong though, your best bet is contacting SE customer service to find out if they'll send you a registration code for PS3.

Thanks for the help. I wasn't aware that 1.0 Legacy members who were able to play EA on PS3 had to physically purchase a copy. I'm assuming purchasing a digital download, (if yet applicable) would do, as well.

Yep. You can purchase a digital download...but they're being limited at the moment.

Best bet is to find a physical copy at your nearest Brick & Mortar store and use the code in there. And yes, 1.0 Legacy players who had EA on PS3 still have to purchase a copy for PS3. (I had 3 accounts to test things out on, and due to doing things in different orders I had the chance to see what "turned on" access on each account).
