Not quite sure why you think your I won't be back threat is supposed to be in the Technical side of the forums, but kudos to you for letting it all out....Feel better now? What my title said. Even if its a "queue to get into the normal queue". We need a queue when servers are full. I know the developers said they are placing login restrictions post patch. People need to wake up and smell the population problem: they SUSPENDED sales. What does that mean? The population could go up and we could face the same problems we had before.
If this error is not replaced with a queue (or queue to get in queue), I will not be subscribing. I don't care how good the game is. If I can't play it on my limited schedule because it takes me 45 minutes to an 1 hour of my allotted 2 or 3 hours a day to get past the title screen, I would rather play something else.
I'm not saying this to complain, QQ, or whine. I am just being honest about how I feel when it comes to spending my hard earned money. I really enjoy this game and want to be able to play it. I hardly think this is being "impatient", "entitled", or a "baby". I understand the physical limitations of the servers. I get that it costs money to put in this hardware. I even understand that this requested software fix will take time and money. However, I don't think anybody sane would disagree with the concept that a queue, with a finite period, is far superior to an obnoxiously worded error which insinuates that the player can somehow know when the world will have an opening.
TLDR: Queue > Queue to get in Queue > Error 1017.
