This is likely not an ISP problem. I did not have this issue before the patch and now I have it all the time. For those of you with RCN in America, I have spoken with them and they do not have any P2P restrictions that are related to traffic from FF14. I have a ticket open with them and they will be giving me confirmed results once they have the chance to have their engineers look at their gateways. I was told that I would be contacted within 24 hours

Last week I had trouble logging in like everyone else, but once I was in, I could play all I want... but now I log in and play max 15min before I get disconnected and get horrible lag during those "lucky" 15min.

Does it happen only on one world or character ? : I've only tried on my main and I am not interested in switching worlds or characters as a possible "solution" to this problem

I sadly will not tell the company name but i told then that my ping (even though is still good ) passed from 9MS to 80 when i entered their servers

When the problem started happening ? : Started happening from 7:30 to 8:30 PM EST on 9/4. Played earlier in the day during non-peak hours and game ran very smoothly. I would log in with my character in Central Thanalan and would have a Receive of 0 the entire time. Get d/ced, log back in, repeat endlessly.
Guys, the lag is likely related to the incoming IP addresses to SE's data center, not our ISP. Please take a look

With all the info I am gathering, it might also be that those middle-men forwarding us to specific IPs are at fault
