Instant 90000 issue {Please Assist} Completly Unable to Play

I'm really at a loss here. I can't understand why i keep getting this 90000 error instantly when trying to Log in to a character,

This video showcases my 90000 issue on different characters on different realms, and ALSO shows what happens when i make it into game.

The issue at hand: Each and every time, no matter what character I try to log in to (granting i get past 1017) I get this error:

"Lost connection to the Server.
90000"

This appears not to be the issue with my account as it was able to log in with no problems on another pc, but not of same internet.
I realize it may be a problem with my internet provider, however, I HAVE gotten past this about 3 times and was able to stay logged in and play with no problems until I logged off for the night. This issue also seemed to only occur regularly after I had finally registered my code after launch day. In Early Access, only 1017 was my problem.


This was happening to me all of the launch days before they fixed the servers, so ignored it until the fix, hoping it would be addressed, but it is apparently still happening to me. This does not occur on any other games I play on my ISP, even other MMORPGS. It is also strange because it seemed to work perfectly UNTIL Launch day, then has happened since. So I have not been able to play since then.

On times I do get in it loads up the game, shows my character but non of my UI. I check my wifi icon at the top and it shows I'm receiving 0. So I'll get into the game and stand for 15 seconds before i get the 90k. It as if the servers are not sending me any information.

Things I've tried:
-Turning off Firewalls and Security software.
-Uninstalling & Reinstalling the game (only done because I still had beta 4 client)
-Adding FFXIV to all 'allowed' programs to play.
-Allowing Edge packaging on FFXIV.
-VPN did not work.

Edit: For ANYONE else having this same issue and have been having this same issue since Launch day, PLEASE post in this thread and create a hub of a problem for SE to notice.

Update on progress: Actually got on and was able to play at about 10:30 central time. Will be trying again tomorrow to see if this is a pattern or not or if it was just a fluke that I got in.

Update 2/5: It must of just been a fluke, because I'm getting the 90000 once again.

I have the same problem, My roomate can play all day never getting d/c but I get d/c within 20 minutes guaranteed then have to wait 20 mins with 3102 to get back on only to get d/c almost immediately again, been happening since last week, game is unplayable for me can't complete a dungeon without getting d/c'd and then the group has left or the game booted me by the time i get back in, So I can't even progress my story.

Yes I don't understand this anomaly in which others on my same connection can play this but I can't.

Some people have said port forwarding and etting ff14 to highest priority have helped, may want to see what mileage you get outta that.

I'm on a dorm IP and router, so I'm not sure I can edit that stuff.

I'm having the same exact problem bud. I'm in New York City and my service provider is RCN. I was playing fine up until today. Cant even do a levequest without disconnecting to error 90000.

I'm having the same issue. It was never a problem before until around September 2nd. Is there something wrong with my computer that's potentially making me get this error? or is this something on FF's end?

It has to be something on FF's end. It seems as though the game is not sending info at all to me when i try to log in. I receive no packets from them. And as I stated, if do not have this issue with any other MMORPG or any other MMO game on my computer. (GW2, Tera, WoW, LoL, Dota, Smite... they all work perfect, this game doesn't)
