Scholars Guide To Healing

STATS
Strength is the primary damage dealing stat for melee classes
Dexterity is the primary damage dealing stat for ranged classes
Vitality is the primary defensive stat for tanking classes
Intelligence is the primary offensive stat for spell casting classes
Mind is the primary healing stat for healers
Piety corresponds to higher MP. More MP allows you to cast more spells during combat

For Scholars Mind & Piety Are the main Primary Stats to Focus on

Scholar Abilities
Lv.30 - Adloquium: Restores target HP. Potency of 300. Erects a barrier nullifying damage equal to the amount of HP restored. The barrier matches HP restored, even if the heal is critical.
Lv.35 - Succor: Restores HP in an area around the caster. Potency 150. Grants a shield to each member healed that nullifies damage equal to the cure.
Lv.40 - Leeches: Removes a single detrimental effect on target. 1s cast time
Lv.45 - Sacred Soil: Creates an area where everyone inside takes 10% less damage. Duration 15s. If cast under "Aetherflow" there is a 20% chance the next "Succor" will cost no MP.
Lv.50 - Lustrate: Restores 20% of target's maximum HP. Only available Under Aetherflow.

EOS ( Healing Fairy )
Lv.1 - Embrace (Shared) - Restores target HP. Potency of 300.
Lv.1 - Whispering Dawn - AoE Regen around fairy. Potency of 100 for 21s. 30s recast.
Lv.20 - Fay Covenant - Increases Magic Defense around fairy by 20% for 20s. Recast 2m
Lv.40 - Fay Illumination - Increases healing magic potency of self and nearby party members for 20% for 20s. Recast 2m.

SELENE ( Support Fairy )
Lv.1 - Embrace (Shared) - Restores target HP. Potency of 300.
Lv.1 - Silent Dawn - Silences target for 1s. 40s recast.
Lv.20 - Fey Glow - Increases Spell speed of self and nearby party members by 30% for 30s. 60s Recast. Can not be used at the same time as "Fey Light".
Lv.40 - Fey Light - Increases skill speed of self and nearby party members by 30% for 30s. 60s Recast. Can not be used at the same time as "Fey Glow".

Cross Class Abilities
Cure: Restores target's HP. Cure Potency: 400 Additional Effect: 15% chance next Cure II will cost no MP. Duration: 15s
Raise: Resurrects target to a weakened state. (Cannot be used when in combat until level 28.)
Protect: Increases the physical defence of all party members within range of target.
Duration: 30m
StoneSkin: Creates a barrier around target that prevents physical damage totaling 18% of target's maximum HP. (10% until 36)

Full Healer ( R2 & Dpad ) - Physick,Summon,Rouse,Aetherflow,Succor,Adloquium,Sacred Soil,Resurrection

Healer & Buffer - Physick,Protect,Succor,Summon II,Sacred Soil,Resurrection, Eye for An Eye, Leeches

Full Healer optional - Cure,Summon,Aetherflow,Succor,Protect,Raise/Res,Sacred Soil,Adloquium

Healing in Parties

When healing in parties Scholars should always Remain Mid range in the party close enough to heal everyone while at the same time far enough away from the boss and add's try to stay near a ranged dps is there is one you should not have to stop healing to focus on an add they are not our problem.

The Tank should always be your main focus when Healing in parties, if someone else needs a heal in your party there's a little trick where if you lock on to the tank and then scroll to the person who needs a heal the fairy will continue to heal the tank for you.

At the same time while staying mid range a Scholar Must Remain MOBILE when needed since VIT is not a stat we need one shot can be fatal to us and a dead healer is not useful keep moving.

Cross Class Abilities

Raise: Resurrects target to a weakened state. (Cannot be used when in combat until level 28.)

No point cross classing raise as it's only in combat castable as a conjurer/white mage as cross class abilities don't benefit from passive traits from other classes. not to mention arcanist's version of raise can already be cast in combat. No need to cross class Cure either as physick is the same potency and mp cost.

Cross classing swift cast and sure cast from thamaturge is very useful.

[Konsentrate]

I have been raising MND as it is the stat used for healing potency. I can't see why INT would be for healing potency as SCH. Any tests on this?

Correction, Stoneskin stays 10% for SCH as the passive that boosts it to 18% is WHM only.

The shield value is doubled when you crit.
