Accounts made before Sep 3rd should get 1 world transfer free?

Due to server congestion and servers capped all over I have 20 or so friends scattered all on different servers when most of us intended to play on the same server and now are all way beyond 25+ with our toons....I think it would only be fair to give all accounts made before the server maintenance to be allowed 1 world transfer of 1 character but maybe I'm just asking silly things, it sounds fair too me.

I wasn't aware FF14 community was already so divided and judgmental...I feel sorry for you. I'll be sure not to slander any lingo from other games next time I play a mmo, god forbid I do that right?

That said, didn't all your friends realize that it was a bad idea to get heavily invested into characters on separate servers?

I just made a long ass post to reply to you and I had to shorten it by 800...too early for all this lol I'm just gonna go to my morning classes now and wait this out, you are correct though common sense is key, but people do silly things when angered.

@neku, this is not the point....for someone to even be so foolish to divide people just because they use certain words is pathetic imo...probably too strong of a word to use, but still. I would hate to see how you treat a special needs irl if you cant even accept the word "toon" over "char".

Bad idea? Sure. But, for a lot it was either that or just not play at all.

All NA servers were locked within, what, a day?

The connectivity problems/server locks are SE's fault. It'd be pretty ballsy on SE's part to expect customers to shell money out to fix SE's fuck up.

I'm pretty sure you'll see some type of comped transfer (maybe to newer realms or something) once they iron out some of this other stuff.
