Preparing for Battle/Job system

I'm with Cair on this one. If I want to be a Monk, I don't want to be limited to just the Pugilist weapon class. Maybe I'll be more effective as Pugilist, but maybe I want to use a bo staff instead (assuming that were in game). Yes, maybe her idea would allow for an axe-wielding White Mage, but maybe the job will favor certain classes, and a White Mage would be more proficient as a CON or THM.

I just can't understand why anyone would want to play a white mage with an axe, you are asking them to destroy the very foundation of the armoury system on a whimsical idea.

Surely we should be looking more towards the idea of restricting class armour (just look at the latest NM drops) and not a class that can equip any old thing.

This game require class diversity otherwise its just 8 people in a party smacking a monster to death.
