Level 50 Qyest Tool vs Luminary?

Am I missing the difference here or is the luminary a waste of time?

They are identical in effect and purpose. Yes, the luminaries are a waste of time now, however they were the best DoH/DoL tools in 1.0. The only draw to luminaries now, is that they appear large and golden on your back (except for the DoL tools, which... already rest on your back anyway).

The current downside to the luminary tools vs the lv50 class-quest tools (again, applies to DoH only) is that the class-quest tools get a fancy crafting table/oven/whatever, whereas the luminary tools just use the same thing that everything else does.

Yeah I played in 1.0 and the luminarys were the best, i was setting out to get em until i did my 50 bsm quest and got a tool with the same stats... thats retarded. They should do like some sort of mini relic quest line for luminary tools.
