Error for the last 10 months or so. Need another external download for the latest update I guess.

wait for maintenance to be finished. If it still happen reinstall the game. If you use Administrator rights you have to give them to all exe files in the boot foider.

Now trying VirtualBox, seems to be working. Save yourselves hassle or find another machine with Windows.

That fix helped me. Thank You! Had this problem since phase 4 beta. Which makes sense i guess because that's when I reformatted my computer.

I have always tried making the ffxivboot.exe have admin privledges but not all of them. I set all the .exe files to windows xp service pack 3 compatibility and set them all to launch as admin and I'm all set now! Had this problem downloading for years, until today!

I don't know if xp service pack 3 is necessary, maybe just admin for everything, but either way, super happy! Thanks!

No go - tried all the suggestions, it would be nice if it would be a streaming update instead of trying to push it all down and having to start over every time it fails.

Hi

I had the same problem, tried many many thing. Last I did is updating my Network Driver for my RealTek card.

They have released version 7.075 on 24.09.2013 !!!!!!

And I finally succeeded to download the game (although I didn't have the time to play it yet).

Hope it may help someone.
