Unable to complete version check. - After patch from 04/09/13

Have you made sure that your Windows is fully updated?
Tried resetting IE settings to default?
Are you running any browser security addon like bullguard or zonealarm?
Are you running any download manager addon?
Are you running NetLimiter or similar tools?

I got that error and then closed the launcher and re-opened it and that prompted me to download the update. Although considering what you said you tried I assume you've already done that...

This is such a pain, it happens to me every time i try to update a new patch.

I love this game, but we shouldn't have to go through all this bs every time.

Is there a site or a thread for book marking reason to have easy access to boot folder D/L? This is twice this issue has happened to me, so if it is going to be the norm, for me, I'd like to just have an easy go to place for current boot folder. If I bookmark the addy gave above, will it always update to the current one? Thanks to whoever is adding the working boot folder
