Faerie - Server Community Appreciation Thread !

Hello !
It amazes me how this game, and especially our beloved server Faerie, is full of good and helpful people.

If you've met nice people that helped you in some way or another or brightened your play session, here is the place to share it and possibly thank them.

I personally have a lot of examples that come to my mind, but I think the most eloquent one was on my first day playing the game (During EA), where I couldn't find a specific quest NPC, and only a few secondes after expressing my despair in the game chat, 2 people offered to accompany me directly in front of the NPC in question. Needless to say, it was quite impressive to see such a helpful community, first day into early access of the game.

Figured I'd pop in and say hi. I've been here since Early Access, and it's a great server, in case anyone is just browsing to get a feel. Tons of friendly players.

I, for one, am always up for dungeon runs, so if you need a tank or healer for a quick dungeon run, just send me a whisper in game.

Tonight I'll be continuing my Brayflox grind, attempting to get my Battle Mage set. Coming up on run #11

While I don't have a story to give about the community, I try to help everyone I can. If someone asks a question in chat, I attempt to answer it. If someone near me needs a rez, I gladly help them out. Even if I am just running about, if I see a player struggling to fight off a monster and looks like they could die, I stop and throw them some heals. I've even stopped fighting mid battle and healed other players at the risk of my own health. But, I'm not the only one who does this kind of stuff, I see plenty of others do it.

However, with any community there are always bad apples. You got the gil sellers, the bots, the people who give smart-assed responses when people ask questions, or the people who are just all together unpleasant fellows. Thankfully, the amount of good players outweighs the amount of bad players.
