First you should really make the distinction between UI mods that do harmless things like skinning, and UI mods that do harmful things like telling you what button to push and when (read: trivializing content).

It should be SE who makes this distinction, and they should listen to the community so people don't feel the need for unofficial UI mods, or perhaps even for official UI mods.

All this bitching about mods that tell you what to do is also uncalled for. People often complain about the UI not being polished enough, but I don't remember any folks asking for anything even close to the game telling you what to do.
