Possibility to open FFXIV up to a moddable UI?

Knowing how strict SE is with their games I doubt they allow mods like in WoW where you have things like healbots. If anything the only mods allowed would just be the look and rearranging of the ui in some amazing graphical manner. I doubt SE is going to allow people to have the game dumbed down in anyway from a third party source.

I love the idea of being able to change visual appearance of the current information,provided by SE, to my own likings.

I am against the idea of allowing mods that displays extra information or plays the game for you to dumb down the experience. This would also hinder ps3 players wouldn't it?

I doubt it too, but who knows. FFXIV is a different game. they may not find them in violation as long as they don't move your character for you.
