Possibility to open FFXIV up to a moddable UI?

Well I think new skins and the ability to turn current UI on or off would be a great idea it doesn't have to become a game where you have to have a billion user made mods to play which I brought up the ones for FFXI like spellcast. Which I think was the mod that displays the JA/Spell recast on screen I always just used recast macros, so you should *never* have to use mods I just see that as a possible option.
