I would be for asthetic mods, but i wouldnt like plugin type mods, because people will just say "you're gimp if you dont use xxx mod" i would however like to make the UI look like I want examples posted in here seem cool.

This could even be implemented in ffxiv config with an outline of where the border of the screen would be and edits in there like colours and menu mods, and possibly menu shortcuts in the main screen.
