    A version update was performed = RAID CONTENT!?

    Could it BE? Perhaps they've seen the quick progress of players to level 50 and their easy clears of Hard Modes. Could it BE? Is the Crystal Tower being unlocked? Could it BE?

    A patch, even at 1 GB, can just be fixes or adjustments to existing files. You people need to calm down.

    1 GB is way too big just for "fixes". They stated that a VERSION update has been implemented. A fix wouldn't change the entire version - maybe the build number - but not the version. Maybe I'm overly optimistic... Or maybe they just worded it in a confusing way. That wouldn't be unlike SE at this juncture.

    I doubt it is anything of importance (as far as content goes), probably just tweaks to things in the background and something to do with the updates to the servers.

    It's not a content patch. it's a bugfix patch. content patches will be announced in advance and we'll know mostly what's going into them beforehand.

    WHAT IF.. 1 gig was so people will take longer to download so less people have to log in.. thus making it less hard on the servers..

    I'm kidding. Kind of. It be awesome if they surprise us though with something else included.
