Refund 1.0 Relic players

Spending 9 Hamlet seals/Hours of farming beastmen coins/Spirtbonding relic/doing speed runs/double melding relic/Doing Ifrit Extreme all was for nothing and got completely dumbed down. Players that didn't spend hamlet seals got 100 points for each for Darklight gear.

So.. Can we get are Hamlet seals/Beastmen Coins back since you removed it completely from ARR. Will need those 900 points anyway from selling those hamlet seals to finish the last requirement of the first relic quest.

Just wish they refund the players that did it the hard mode. Took me 3-4 weeks toget 8 Hamlet seals and SE said they were not gonna change the relic quest until after few months later when 1.0 was offline.

Now need to farm another 900 points just to finish off my relic...

I feel your pain I do, but getting 900 seals takes no time at all. As easy as 9 Runs. thats 1 day of farming if you got a solid group. So the realty of the matter is... it's much eaiser. \

I new about this way early. It's why I never wasted my time to on it to begin with. Well, you can say you have them when they were hard to get. That's an accomplishment in itself that no one can ever get again.

Last Dungeon takes awhile with pickup groups toget 100pts. Working on Amo.. Keep for 80/40pts so ill have +1 relic by the time I have 900pts. Still I could use the points to buy Coke or other stuff to start up a new relic or buy some darklight. As of the Beastmen coins... is there anything in the game right now that uses them? I don't think I see beastmen drop them anymore.. could be wrong.

Either way think refund is in order. Since we got our Beastmen Keyitem for 25k Company Seals for relic why not the other stuff. Isn't that tough to put in the refund either. Having Relic Quest in 1.0 history gives you 9 hamlet seals or 900pts. Having beastmen coin quest completely gives you 100 HQ Beastcoins.
Spiritbonding Relic gives you 5 VI Cracked Materia. Completing Ifrit Extreme gives you completion for first part of the quest for +2 Relic Quest.

Exactly.. I got my 9 hamlet seals. Give me 900pts. Don't have to redo content that I should do twice. Whats done is done.

That doesn't make sense. In 1.0 AF was earned by grouping up and in 2.0 its all Solo. How is that more effort to do? All you do in 2.0 is spam 1 dungeon 10 times and do some glitched out boss battles toget your relic and some reg summon fights. In 1.0 was more grindfest and noone wanted to farm Militia Gear, Beastmen Coins, Hamlet Seals, Dungeon Speedruns, Garuda w/o any deaths, Ifrit Extreme, Spirintbond for full day or two, Farm for Class only Weapons and risk breaking them with double meld.

Because its so easy toget now its probably not gonna be considered a Relic Weapon anymore.

Even Golden tools are useless now since they released same kinda tools with same stats that take only 10mins-7 hours toget by doing Class Quests.

You didn't read the post. The AF was made easier because there is now a better version avialable that requires considerably more effort.

The relic weapons are easier because there is a better version of them now that requires considerably more effort.

In other words, like I said in my post, the situation with relic weapons is similar to the situation with AF: New AF made available, old AF made easier. Relic upgrades made available, initial relic quest made easier.

Whenever they release a new something, the old somethings are usually made easier. This is a simple reality of all MMOs.

If you can't accept the fact that older content generally becomes easier as an MMO ages, then you're playing the wrong genre.
