The faeries/pets should NOT be picking up effects like this. There is already enough going on in fights like these. Unless you specifically 'place' your pet on the tile, it takes a miracle to get them to path over it.

Summoner pets also pick up the status and get one shotted. This completely gimps these jobs+classes in this fight.

I've personally have never had this problem... Eos just follows me around everywhere. And using Place isn't really that bad on PC... Idk what system you are on though.

I don't think this is a bug. As far as i can tell the pet is a player that can receive damage and debuffs. and using an ability to fix said problem sounds like the game is working as intended. Your pet got hit with DOOM. move the pet to the spot. problem solved. On ps3 however, just lead your fairy to the panel. fyi... this will happen with summoner pets as well. just order your pet to follow, run it through the panel, and attack again.
