So run WP as a fresh 50 until you have full ilvl 55 gear then try Infrit for weapon?

As soon as you get 50, you can run Ifrit for your weapon. You're more than fine with AF. Ifrit isn't a gear check like Garuda and even more so Titan. You just need to know the mechanics for Ifrit
