I've had this guide bookmarked for a while. Thank you so much for this in depth list it helps a lot! I'm still really confused on the status of AK. I'm one that hates to skip steps. So I'd want to get the armor sets in order. iLvl 50 set to ilvl 60 set etc. etc. But the dungeon with the ilvl 60 set is AK. This makes it looked like to do it in order I'd want to farm AK right after I get my AF. But everything I've heard and read says do AK DEAD DEAD DEAD last. It's where you get the tokens for the ilvl 90 stuff and it's hard as heck and has a long queue. So I really shouldn't touch it until I've cleared almost everything else. Am I being forced to skip a tier and some how get the crafted ilvl70 set?
Is there any other way outside AK (and crafting) to get the ilvl 60 set?

If you hate to skip steps then your first step as a level 50 is to do Wanderer's Palace over and over until you get a full set of iLevel 55 armors and the Darklight weapon from the last boss.
Then you can move on to HM Ifrit for your iLevel 60 weapon and AK for iLevel 60 armor pieces. You will get tomestones of philosophy from both WP and AK, so spend these to get your iLevel 70 Darklight gear. By doing AK, you will also get Mythology tomestones, use these to either upgrade your relic weapon to iLevel 90 or get armor pieces that are iLevel 90.

Binding Coil needs to be done in iLevel 70 gear (with rare iLevel 90 gear depending how long you have farmed Mythology tomestones) because Crystal Tower is missing, which is the place that you should visit when you get a full iLevel 70 set.

at this point, you'll have several Darklight and AK gears, that would be sufficient for titan

Since the person said that they didn't want to skip any steps, I think they want to get Ifrit weapon first, before attempting Garuda.

yes, that's also what i meant
after getting ifrit weapon and AK gears, you may then proceed to garuda, or do them both (ifrit & garuda) as the drop rate is very random

The attunement to The Binding Coil of Bahamut is obtained after defeating Titan for the first time (Completing the In a Titan Spot quest). Like with the previous primal battles, a new quest is then found in The Waking Sands that grants you access to The Binding Coil of Bahamut.

It's really not that hard - just won on my first try. - if you get into duty finder with at least 1 person who can explain the boss, it's cake

As soon as you get 50, you can run Ifrit for your weapon. You're more than fine with AF. Ifrit isn't a gear check like Garuda and even more so Titan. You just need to know the mechanics for Ifrit

I never even bothered with Wanderer's Palace. 50, with AF gear, started farming CM and AK and Ifrit, just queuing for whatever will pop. AK's Demon Wall boss is a bit of a DPS check, but not a huge one. Just don't go in there with anything lower than AF and level 49 accessories.

I personally recommend replacing your belt and accessories with Darklight first, throw in any AK gear you find, and the Ifrit weapon and Garuada will be no problem. Titan I am less clear on the threshold.
