If this was just a "fix" it wouldn't warrant an entire VERSION update. Fixes generally just change the version build number but not the version itself. Like, 2.0.0129 vs. 2.1.0010. The first is not a complete version update. I don't know. Maybe they just did a poor job of wording whatever it is they're doing. Who knows.

wrong its not just a fix they made changes to the DF and how it processes que's amongst other things they have yet to mention.

That's essentially what I was getting at.. It's NOT a fix. If it was they wouldn't have worded it as an entire version update. Version changes usually imply new or additional things.

Semantics honestly.. It doesn't matter what they call it. They needed to do some kind of update to the client regardless, if for no other reason than to add the new servers to the local serverlist. Hopefully more than that of course, but they love staying quiet until the last second..

Yeah, I would hope it'd download a manifest file for the update and apply those files to the file container but your explanation definitely seems like what is happening. We'll see when they announce what the patch contained, it should be relatively obvious once they announce the changes.

I'd hope so as well, but a lot of times they're just really lazy with this sort of thing..
