the problem is the dye system, it's useless
why bother implementing it if we can't dye most unique gears?
a remodel system would be a nice addition too..

just look at GW2, where we can be anything by mix-matching different set of gear piece from several gears with different set of dyes into one brand new armor set
we can see a player with great armor design and say "woah that's awesome"

GOod! How you look in an MMO is very important. Its your character. CUstomizing the look is so important and I am happy they are doing it!

It would be nice if we could trade in our yukatas/swimsuits/santa gear for vanity slot equivalent equipment when the vanity slot system gets released.

If all other MMOs that have had such a system are any indication the scantily clads will be there but not the majority by a long shot. The majority people will be using the system to make elaborate personal costumes that will look a heck of a lot better than the stock end game costumes.

I hope it will be similar to LOTRO's system. I always caught folks off-guard running around in my lvl 1 hunter gear. I can totally see myself rocking the starter lalafell outfit :P

yea me too, I HATE the transmog system as you cant make having multiple cosmetic sets since you have to drain money/gear into a perma change on your current armor
