FFXI fans don't want to "play a game" for 5 years, they want to spend five years sitting there while the game auto-attacks for them and lets them grind levels over and over again in the most boring and unimaginative way possible.

Yeah wouldn't it be amazing if we could stand around in our proclaimed dragoon class armour letting the game spam auto-attack for us?

I don't know what you're doing here either to be honest. Maybe when they invent an MMO that lets you watch paint dry you'll finally be satisfied and won't have to destroy the potential of FFXIV for everyone else.

With the Job System in place you'll know they are a Red Mage before you invite them...

I do that right now I invite a Gladiator to fulfil the role of tank because no matter how you try and cut it Gladiator IS a tank first and foremost.
