Is there a point to having multiple characters?

I've been trying to think of a benefit, but can't come up with anything. Especially considering you can't mail items/gil to your alts.

I would think only thing that would want you to make a new character would be if you suddenly decided to change your race. Other than that I can't think of any reason also

People like to extreme min/max and also people like to play different races. I, however will roll just one.

well i got 2 accounts, so i play 2 characters whenever i wish..and i just trade items between them whenever.. and got ALOT of storage space..cuz i level everthing :/

Do we get to replay all the quests if we already did them with our first job?

I'm gonna be bummed if when I level a healer I don't have any quests to do. I don't like FATE's.

no u will not. u will have to do hunt logs leve grind fates and dungeons. there will be quests here in there in the other city areas. but nothing like there is leveling your first job.
