wait till maint is done try to log again if you cant then you'll need to directly contact customer support either the live chat or over the phone shitty answer I know but it is what it is delt with the same thing kinda and the response email I got was that I had to contact them direct
I believe you were able to play due to early access but that ended at the end of last month.
You are on the wrong website to see your registered FFXIV account. What you are looking at is your game being registered as "This is something I own" on the members site. Not as "This is something I have an account set up for". Sorry if the explination is a bit hard to follow.
Go to this link, log in and click on the mog station banner: https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app
Once you are there, click Account Services and then Add Windows Service. *DO NOT CLICK* add new service account.
This should sort out your issue.

You can "register" the game with the preorder code for early access so having under your se accounts means nothing. Is the code you enter the same code you used to register for the preorder? There should be a new code either emailed to you with your digital copy, or with your hard copy.
Look under your active service accounts to see if the game subscription is active.

You definitely have to register a separate code than the early access code from pre-order. You're in the same boat as one of my friends who got lost and had no idea what to do....
Literally all you have to do, is ACTUALLY READ the emails SE sent you. Everything is explained there.
Also make sure you type the code in caps - YES IT MATTERS>
never received an e-mail in my spam or main folder on the 27th or 26th.
