    If Side Quests were repeatable once per class I'd be happy. If Dungeon and Guildleve XP was boosted to in or around the area that Fates give I'd do a lot more of those activities.

    There shouldn't be any single way to level quickly, they should all be good.

    I've been doing FATEs, Hunting Logs, Class Quests and the occasional side quests to get me to 15. After that I plan on doing dungeon runs with FATEs in between. I've always thought the xp rewarded from guildleves for battle classes was too low, so I just save them for my gatherers.

    Again you are missing the point. People can and will still level just as fast if not faster due to not having to slow down with quest XP. They will simply grind FATES all the way up now. This is the issue at hand. Let's focus here.

    AGREED!

    Personally I hate the duty finder system in general due to the lack of actually having meaningful interactions but if they made it give out like 50k exp at the end (for lvl ~40 anyway) it would do a lot to bring dungeons more in line with fate grinding.

    Is this thread for real? If you want to do the same quests again, start a new character for a different class.

    You get to level different classes on the SAME CHARACTER! You get to use your Aethernet locations, Chocobo, other skills from classes you've leveled, revealed map, etc... but you complain there isn't 6x the quest content so you can level them all "efficiently"? This system is already care bear, GTFO.

    Not at all what I am saying. Please read the posts before commenting. I am not saying we should have more quests. I am saying that FATE XP needs to be toned down or other content XP needs to be toned up. We need to have XP rates equal for all content otherwise people will be forced into only grinding FATES if they want to level EFFICIENTLY. Adding more content if it were quests would be nice, but not something I expect as I know it is too much work to ask for. However, the adjustment of XP gains is something that can and should be addressed.

    Personally, while 'efficiency' can be satisfying, I don't usually find it fun. Doing nothing but running around from fate to fate (when a fate in the area is even up) might be the most efficient way to level up, but as it seems to be suggested in this and other threads, it's not very fun.

    My personal solution is to not care about how 'efficient' my time is, xp/minute or some such craze. Instead I'm just gonna queue up on one class, and then do fates,side quests, class quests, leves, hunting logs, switch to a crafter or gatherer class, etc. Because I find those fun. I don't care about my xp per minute, so I guess, lucky me or somethin'.

    All MMOs involve some sort of grind for something. Even doing to same raid over and over to get a certain piece you want is a grind believe it or not. I find FATEs to be enjoyable, and they should pay out more as they're random and you need to be right place right time, and they involve many people from the same area. It is an MMO after all. So I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

    Leves, FATES, Dungeons, Logs, and Behests. Or, get a group of people of the same level together and go find a place to camp mobs high enough above you all to get good xp.

    Once PvP is in, who knows, maybe that will be viable. Right now, the above list is what you got.

    And remember, you're not a real 50 until your support class for your job is as well.

    I wish they kept the game intact as it is, but only they brought back mob farming parties.

    I already have most of my combat classes maxed from 1.0, but I think into the future, when new classes get added, or on the people that's starting to play right now... level 6+ classes to 50 or more just doing FATE and the same dungeons it just sounds horrible.

    I'd rather SB party and farm mobs again, it was way more relaxing and fun, for me and at least I didn't had to be looking at the map all the time with that tension to spot a FATE and reach it in time to get any decent exp, because some fates aren't up more than 1 or 2 minutes.
